Workplace Disaster Readiness Evaluation
A recent Government-commissioned survey found that 3/5 people do not feel well prepared for a disaster. For a limited time, we are offering our independent 50-point Disaster Readiness Evaluation for only $299 + GST – usually $599 (some conditions may apply).
Fully obligation-free! It includes a site visit, staff engagement, risk assessment based on your location and a no-fuss written report with our recommendations to get your business disaster ready.

Welcome
At Disaster Readiness Consultants (DRC), our sole focus is getting businesses disaster ready. We do this by working with the relevant governing bodies and legislation to ensure that not only all the right boxes are ticked but that your people and property are ready to respond in the event of an emergency and that you have solid business continuity plans in place.
Based in Wellington, Tom and Sam have over 25 years combined experience in the emergency response industry. We have extensive skills and qualifications in this field, giving us an unparalleled knowledge of compliance and ways we can help to build stronger, more resilient businesses throughout NZ.
We offer our Disaster Readiness Workshops and proven Consultancy Services; however, if you are looking for something outside the box, please get in touch to discuss how we can build a tailor-made package specifically to suit your needs.
We would warmly welcome the opportunity to work with your business and achieve high standards of disaster readiness together.
We focus on things like geographical risks, emergency plans, equipment, and most importantly – your people!

Disaster Readiness Workshop
Our 6-hour Disaster Readiness Workshop is an engaging, informal and practical way of attaining skills that can be used anywhere when a disaster strikes.
We go through the basics of “what to do” when you need to respond to disaster situations, with the main emphasis on having a go using actual emergency equipment and the latest first aid and rescue techniques. We then put it all together in a controlled environment with a scenario.
Our workshop also has a section on dealing with the aftermath of experiencing traumatic events. We discuss how to look after your mental health and what techniques and support services are available to help manage stressful situations. Our consultants are highly experienced in doing this in the emergency response industry and are accredited with Certificate in Mental Health.
We can deliver our workshop from your premises or from one of the many locations we have available for use throughout Wellington (minimal venue hire costs apply). We ensure a relaxed and informative experience, perfect for a team-building exercise that is not only useful but may save a life one day!
